Whether you choose a FlowFuel or a FlowBrand campaign, the way they are created are the same. This section will use FlowFuel as an example.
Navigate to "Campaigns" on the left-hand menu
Choose to create an organic post or a campaign (here we will cover campaign)
You will be asked to confirm if you are creating a FlowFuel or a FlowBrand campaign - for this example we will choose FlowFuel
Next you will need to pick a design for your ad. There are public templates that Flow have curated, if your organisation has custom templates they will also be available to choose from, or you can upload your own design.
You will then be presented with step 1 of the Ad Builder technology. Presented is the chosen template, with all the fields that need to be completed in order to create the ad. Note, that if your organisation has added a listing/content feed with all of the fields filled out, the information in the orange boxes below will automatically be filled out. If not, the right-hand box you will need to type appropriate descriptions for the property that you are wanting to advertise, as well as the appropriate call-to-action selection (the "CTA Text" drop down menu). Beneath the example add, by clicking the "Select Property" button you will be able to select a property based on the listing feed your organisation linked with Flow: you are able to filter your selection by various items to find the listing you would like to pick. If your organisation has not uploaded a listing feed, you are also able to manually select a property. Also remember to add the appropriate location at the bottom.
While you are updating the information, the changes are implemented live on the preview version of the ad. If you need to change the selected listing or don't like the automated image used, select either of the "Change" options highlighted in the orange box below.
Second step of the Ad Builder process is to input the targeting details. By default Ad Builder will select an age range, gender and geo-locations to target. You can change all of these options to your liking. In the "Geo Targeting" section, you can remove the default area if you like, and you can add multiple locations. Simply type the locations and for each location Ad Builder will ask you to input the radius around the relevant areas that you would like to target.
When you click next, you are at the last step which is the timing, review and payment section. In the top left, you can choose how long you want a campaign to run. Towards the right where the "Starting" grey box is, one can click on the "Edit" within the box to change the start date of the campaign if necessary. Below this, there is a preview of the campaign which shows the creative and the targeting details. If there are any changes required, click on "Previous" which is on the bottom of the page. If you are happy with the preview, on the right there is a breakdown of the costs. The second line "Credits" refers to money that an organisation can load for its agents/clients - if there are credits available it will be deducted from the original ad cost. The total owed by the client/agent is then reflected in the last line, which in this case is R0.00 as credit was applied. If it was more than R0.00 the agent/client needs to pay the difference which can be done with various card types. Click "Purchase And Go Live" when you are ready!
